Transient-Aware Dynamics

Orpheus Hermes

A digital feed-forward utility compressor with a transient-aware sub-harmonic generator. Glues the low end without the transient click artifacts of legacy psychoacoustic tools.

Dynamics & Transient Detection Engine

Orpheus Hermes decouples fast transient clamping from sustained harmonic weight. Operating on an ultra-responsive feed-forward architecture, Hermes eliminates the brittle click distortion and squawk typical of legacy digital compressors while maintaining pure mathematical accuracy and zero algorithmic latency.

Transient Peak Clamping

Ultra-fast attack ballistics down to 0.5 ms grab erratic peaks instantly without collapsing into waveform modulation distortion. Percussive snap stays intact while unruly dynamic peaks are reined in transparently.

Sustain Body Circuit

Dedicated low-end reinforcement prevents bass loss under heavy gain reduction. Anchors sub-bass power and midrange punch naturally without the phase artifacts or smear of secondary EQ shelving.

Decoupled Tube Harmonics

Functions strictly as an uncolored precision digital utility compressor by default. Selectable tube drive can be layered in when analog weight is required, decoupled entirely from the gain-reduction circuit.

Transient Guard
Internal dynamic detection prevents the transient distortion common in legacy sub-bass enhancers, removing the need for pre-clippers and gates
Feed-Forward Utility
Deterministic digital feed-forward compressor circuit designed for fast level staging, ducking, and punch reinforcement
Decoupled Design
Heavy saturation was moved completely into Zeus, keeping Hermes surgical, fast, and transparent
Sub Harmonics
Generates targeted upper harmonics from the fundamental to make low end translate clearly on small monitors without sacrificing headroom
